Processing Technology

Compared with traditional magnesium alloy production, our semi-continuous casting process delivers higher strength and greater extensibility in both organization and composition.

Magnesium liquid is poured directly from the holding furnace and rapidly crystallized through pipetting and double refining with high purity and minimal impurity content. This improves the compactness of the inner metallurgical structure of the magnesium rod, resulting in more reasonably densified inner crystallization. Physical properties are greatly enhanced compared to traditional casting products.
Impurities in the rhyolite are reduced to near zero in the molded product. Our semi-continuous casting magnesium alloy adopts a new inert gas protection device, greatly reducing entrapped slag and improving product quality. In the traditional process, the smelting process is completely exposed to the air, which can only be flame-retarded by rhyolite and similar methods.
The surface is smooth and clean, with no porosity, no shrinkage, and no slag inclusion.
Length is flexible. The existing maximum diameter is Φ600 mm. Products can be peeled and cut as customized. We also produce other specification products to meet customer requirements. Various specifications of magnesium alloy flat bar can be semi-continuously cast.
