Magnesium Alloy AZ91D, AM50A, AM60B, and AZ31B magnesium alloy plates offer exceptional properties for various industrial applications.

Applications

AZ31B sheet and plate are suitable for medium strength service at temperatures below 150°C. Applications include aerospace, aircraft, concrete tools, 3C products (cell phone/camera/computer), speaker cones, and textile machinery where lightweight properties are beneficial.

AZ31B is non-magnetic with high electrical and thermal conductivity, making it ideal for RFI and EMI shielding in electronics and computer industries.

Superplastic forming of AZ31B sheet at elevated temperatures enables production of intricate automotive parts. Monocoque construction using formed sheet can be adapted for various commercial applications.
