Features

AZ31B magnesium alloy can be divided into two major types: wrought magnesium alloy and cast magnesium alloy. It offers excellent mechanical properties and is primarily used for automotive parts, machine components, and communications equipment.

Compared with cast magnesium alloy, the deformation of AZ31B magnesium alloy provides higher strength and better plasticity, making it ideal for thin plates, extrusion, and forgings.

Casting magnesium alloy AZ31B features high vibration resistance and excellent endothermic performance, making it the ideal material for aircraft wheel hubs.

Currently, AZ31B magnesium alloy is widely used in automotive applications including clutch shells, bonnets, gearbox cylinder heads, air conditioner shells, steering brackets, and brake brackets.
